The crap little kids pull nowadays is simply ridiculous. The younger each generation, the older they look, the more “experienced” they become, the faster they try to be and act older, the more naive and vulnerable they get. Like… seriously? I’d give anything just to be a kid again, and here you are, ranting and preaching about things you barely know anything about and have only recently become exposed to. Yeah, everybody has been through their share of hardships, but honestly, the typical 12-year-old would know squat. I mean yeah, I went through a lot at that age, and I was just as stupid, I made myself just as vulnerable, but I knew where and when to stop. I knew that if I ever let anything get out of hand, in any way, shape, or form, that I would be screwed. I still knew what I was doing. And the cussing? Don’t get me started on the cussing. I used to cuss a lot too, but when they rant, there’s a cuss word as every other word in a sentence as if it’s supposed to emphasize what point they’re trying to bring across while repeating the same damn thing, just in a different way. Relationships and alla that? For all you know, you’re little boyfriend just now discovered what his penis was and your little girlfriend finally figured how to use a pad/tampon. Man, I just hope and pray that my little brother doesn’t EVER become one of those.. gremlins.
It just worries me, because all of them are worrying about things they should be worrying about so much later on in their lives and they make those things their top priorities. They let themselves get influenced by the stupid crap teenagers do nowadays. I’m disappointed in our generation as well, for letting things like this happen. Those kids are OUR future and they look up to US to set an example for them. Our goal is to make them better than us. Make them understand our mistakes so they avoid making them. They are supposed to be smarter than us. Our generation just has too much pride to let that be. We’re too reckless and we get too ahead of ourselves. We’re still young. Our generation and the generations below us need to savor our youth. It won’t be there forever. Trying to grow up to fast will just screw us over in the end and all you’d feel is regret.
Gah, whatever. We just need change.
